Children are not simply small adults. They have unique needs and are in so many ways more complex than adults. Children are not only constantly growing, they are changing and developing at every moment. Just as children change and grow, their orthotic or prosthetic devices must change and adjust along with them. Our orthotic and prosthetic services are designed to optimize your child’s function, while accommodating growth, facilitating motor development and preventing discomfort. We work closely with the other members of your child’s team - physicians, physical therapists, teachers and caregivers. And of course parents are always included in decision making and planning the orthotic or prosthetic protocol for each child.
